Overview
The Academic and Student Administration Office (Direction des études et de la scolarité – DES) has three departments:
- The Academic Support and Special Assistance Department (département d'Assistance aux scolarités et d'appui ponctuel – ASAP)
- The Academic Administration Department (département Gestion des études)
- The Academic Programmes Department (département Offre de formation)
The Academic and Student Administration Office is responsible for:
- Assisting in the development and oversight of the university's academic policy
- Implementing the university's academic policy, specific training policies and coordinating initiatives linked to the university’s strategic plan
- Accrediting, developing and promoting the university’s programmes and courses
- Coordinating and harmonising teaching and training practices across faculties
- Monitoring and evaluating programmes using data and feedback
- Managing and maintaining accurate course information
- Organising and coordinating student administration and enrolment
- Advising faculties and providing guidance on legal, technical and practical matters
